What a fantastic night in Atlanta as we hosted "Cultivating Georgia's Cannabis Industry: Patient Care & Social Equity." Our programs are education-driven fundraisers for equitable participation in the cannabis industry. Tea Pad in Atlanta on February 20, 2025, included the live jazz, good eats, plentiful libations, and provocative conversation that are part of every Tea Pad. We're grateful to Fine Fettle Georgia and Trulieve Georgia for their sponsorship support. Dr. Terel Newton shared his unique perspective as a physician who includes medical cannabis as an adjunctive therapy in his patients' care.
Dr. Newton was joined by Judson Hill of Fine Fettle, GA, Renée Legere of Trulieve, GA, and Georgia's Cannabis Commission Executive Director Andrew Turnage in a discussion on how to drive change in expanding the Georgia industry for patients and opportunity. As we do at every Tea Pad, our guests had the chance to ask questions and be part of a provocative conversation focused on change and growth for quality care and social equity.
Throughout the night, the smoothest jazz band in the city, Groove Centric, set the Tea Pad vibe. Tea Pad Advisory Board member Carl "Slim C" Koebel engaged everyone with his rap, "It's a Tea Pad Thing."
"Elevate the world and make a change.
Share the science
and educate with cannabis, Baby.
It's a Tea Pad thing."
